I wanted to interview Officer Legatie because she is the 1st woman police officer in Berlin. I thought it was important for people to get to know her. Here are some questions I asked and her answers.
1. How do you feel about being the 1st woman police officer?
I love it.
2. Do you ever get scared when you are working?
Yes, if you are not scared something would be wrong with you.
3. Why did you want to become a police officer?
I wanted to be like my Dad and my brother. I also like meeting new people and feel I can
make a difference.
4. What sports do you like?
I like the Phillies, Flyers, and the Sixers.
5. What type of music do you like to listen to?
I like all kinds of music like Country and Hip-Hop.
6. What is it like working with all men?
They are all the best.
7. Do you want to become friends with the kids in town?
I want to be a role model for them and if they ever need to talk to someone, they can come to
me.
8. If you could give advice to the teenagers in our town what would it be?
Stay close to your family and church and always crowd yourself with the right people.
